Questions

The things
people ask first.

If yours isn't here, send it with your request — we answer every one personally, usually the same day.

What do I actually have to do on the day?

Show up and talk. We handle the gear, lighting, sound, direction, and every bit of the technical side. It's a conversation, not a performance — and the engineer is there the whole time so you're never fighting with equipment.

What if I'm not comfortable on camera?

Most people aren't, at first. We direct you through it and the false starts don't matter — that's what editing is for. By the end of your session it feels like talking to a colleague, and that's exactly how it reads on screen.

How many people fit?

The set is built and lit for a two-person interview, which is what it does best. Bringing a third person or a small crew is usually workable — mention it in your request and we'll tell you straight whether the room and the camera setup can do what you have in mind.

Can I bring my own editor?

Absolutely. That's the whole idea behind booking the room on its own — you get synced audio and video via Dropbox within a business day and you're free to cut it yourself, hand it to your editor, or send it anywhere you like. No lock-in, no strings on the footage.

When do I get my files?

For a studio session, synced audio and video arrive within one business day via a Dropbox link. On the monthly plan, finished assets are released on a drip across the following few weeks — so you're publishing consistently all month instead of dumping everything in one day and going quiet.

Where exactly is it, and where do I park?

1801 Oberlin Road in Middletown, PA — five minutes from Harrisburg International, twenty from Harrisburg or Hershey. Parking is on-site, and you'll get door-by-door directions once your session is confirmed.

Who's behind the studio?

Q'd Up, a Central PA podcast and video production agency. Book the room and you get the space and an engineer; go monthly and you get the agency.
